Frequently Asked Questions

What is your location and Time zone?

Im based in El Paso, Texas USA. (Mountain standard time). I work remotely with all clients in the United States.

How much will a website project cost?

The cost of a project is determined by the scope of the project and the deliverables. I offer a variety of services at various pricing points to accommodate your budget. If you're still in the early phases and aren't sure what you need, we can assess your project scope together. This way, you'll know exactly how much it will cost to proceed.

How long does it take to build a website?

The timeline for a project depends heavily on the size of the project and how quickly feedback is provided. The majority of websites will be completed and online within 2 to 6 weeks once the project has started. Every project timeline is unique based on other factors as well like collaboration.  If you require any major updates or new pages after the website has been completed, we can add new work on a on-demand basis.

Do you charge on a hourly rate?

No do not work on a hourly rate. I only work on fixed cost projects that are priced in accordance to the specific client or project i'm working. This tends to work best for both clients and myself to deliver the best quality work possible when delivering custom solutions.

What is Webflow?

Webflow is a website building and hosting platform for developing custom and unique websites that are built faster than coding from scratch. It's what I use to develop all of my clients' websites, as well as this one. It is a powerful and versatile tool that offers many benefits for both clients and internal teams. For clients, it allows for live prototyping, faster iterations, custom CMS, and faster landing page creation. For designers, it offers better fidelity between mockups and live sites, more accurate interactions, and the ability to put creativity first. If you are looking for a better alternative to WordPress, Webflow is your answer. It has design flexibility and solves many pain points that WordPress does not address. It is faster, more secure, and does not rely on plugins that can slow down your website and expose security vulnerabilities.

Why is Webflow better than Wordpress, Wix, or Squarespace?

Webflow outperforms WordPress in several ways. For starters, Webflow includes a visual development platform that makes it easier to design responsive websites without having to write code. WordPress, on the other hand, requires installation on a hosting server and primarily relies on plugins, which might cause the website to slow down and expose security flaws. Second, Webflow includes most features built-in out of the box, such as a customizable CMS with specific content types, simple editing tools, and built-in SEO controls, but WordPress does not. Finally, Webflow provides high-performance hosting that does not require maintenance, while WordPress hosting might be slow and necessitates regular upgrades and maintenance.

Why partner with a freelancer like myself instead of an agency?

While agencies offer a range of resources and expertise, working with a Webflow freelancer like myself, I can offer unique advantages that are hard to find elsewhere.

First and foremost, I can an offer a level of flexibility and customization that agencies simply can't match. I can tailor services specifically to your needs, allowing for a more personalized and collaborative approach to your project.

Another key advantage of working with a freelancer like myself, is speed and efficiency. I don't have to navigate through multiple layers of management and decision-making, which can slow down the project and add unnecessary costs. Instead, I can work directly with you to create a streamlined workflow and complete your project efficiently and on time.

Finally, working with a freelancer often means building a lasting relationship with someone who truly cares about your project. My success depends on your success, and I will go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. You'll have a direct line of communication with me at all times allowing you to share feedback and make adjustments as needed, ensuring the final product is exactly what you envisioned.

At the end of the day, working with a a freelancer like myself is a smart choice for any business that wants a personalized, and efficient approach to website design and development.

How will I communicate to you throughout the project?

I prefer to do most client communication through email or in a Slack channel that I can setup for us to work together and exchange content and address questions since it keeps everything in the same place but I'm willing to schedule a phone call or meet in person for local clients to discuss the project if you prefer that. I strive to respond within one to two business days.

How will I update, change, and manage content on my website after its finished?

My work doesn't finish by delivering a website. Once I have finished your custom website, your team will receive a training/support from me to teach them how to use wWebflow's Editor and CMS where you can create and edit content right on your page, without our assistance and publish with a simple click.

How will my website be hosted?

Webflow also offers hosting and domain services so users can get their sites up and running quickly. Other hosting services rely on one server, in one location, which means slow page loads — especially for visitors further from the server. These servers aren’t built to scale with a growing site, risking a server crash with too many requests. Webflow Hosting is built for speed, scalability, and reliability. Webflow Hosting fees  will need to be paid on a monthly basis by the client.
